The short version: Easy Evite is free. We collect only what we need to make invitations work. We don't sell anything to anyone. There are no ads or trackers.

What we collect, and why

DataWhy
Your email address (and name, if signing in with Google)So we can recognize your account when you come back.
Events you create (title, date, location, image)So we can render your invitation.
Guest contacts you add (name, optional email/phone, notes)So we can generate each guest's RSVP link and, if you opt in, text it to them.
RSVPs your guests submit (yes/no, party size, message)So you can see who is coming.
Server logs (IP, request paths, errors)For diagnosing problems and stopping abuse. Logs are kept short-term.

What we do not do

Third-party services we use

How long we keep your data

We keep your account and event data until you delete it. You can delete an event from its page (which deletes its image and all RSVPs), or delete your account from your dashboard (which deletes everything tied to your account).

Your rights

You can:

Cookies

We set one session cookie when you sign in, so you don't have to sign in on every page. We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.

Children

Easy Evite is intended for hosts who are 13 or older. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. (Of course, the kids you invite to a birthday party are welcome on the invitation — but the host account creating the event must be an adult or parent.)

Security

We host on a server we control, behind HTTPS, with strict firewall rules. We don't store passwords (we use sign-in links and Google OAuth instead). Despite our best efforts, no internet service is 100% secure — please don't put highly sensitive information into RSVP messages.
